Kayak
Join us for a thrilling kayak tour of the La Jolla Sea Caves!
The fully guided kayak tour takes you through the Ecological Reserve and along the La Jolla Sea Caves—some of San Diego’s most famous attractions. The La Jolla Ecological Reserve and Underwater Park is a marine protected area that’s a famous destination for snorkelers, divers, and kayakers to respectfully explore. The Reserve is home to our friends—leopard sharks, Garibaldi (California’s state marine fish!), lush kelp beds, sea lions, and even the occasional pod of dolphins!
The experienced tour guides will share fun facts and history about La Jolla, safely guide you along the sea caves, and lead you through one (ocean conditions permitting). This adventure is suitable for kayakers ages 6+, no experience necessary!

Horseback Riding
There’s no better way to explore the canyon than on the back of one of our special creatures. Embark along sagebrush-lined trails past a grove of giant oaks and alongside a trickling stream. Safe and reliable trail horses will be provided to accommodate all ages and levels of riders. Horses will be groomed and tacked up prior to your arrival in order to maximize riding time.

Golf
Taking inspiration from the dramatic landscapes of Los Peñasquitos Canyon, Tom Fazio’s course at The Grand Golf Club at Fairmont Grand Del Mar masterfully combines striking elevations, varied bunkers, and verdant fairways. Cooled by Pacific breezes and bathed in Southern California sun, it offers the ultimate golf experience both on and off the course – from the expansive clubhouse just beyond the 18th hole’s waterfall to the traditional forecaddie service and the practice areas extending over almost seven acres.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of your IBDC-RIAC conference registration up to February 4 will be subject to a $150 cancellation fee.

Cancellation of your IBDC-RIAC conference registration after February 4 will result in forfeiture of your registration fee.
Hotel reservation cancellation will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policies.

Your IBDC-RIAC conference registration may be transferred to another attendee.

By continuing with your registration to attend the 2024 IBDC-RIAC Risk Management Conference, you acknowledge and accept IBDC-RIAC’s cancellation policy and the Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s cancellation policy.
